Splash Radio

Hello!

This week's Splash Radio weekly magazine 'The Inside' carries a video of us from last years gig at the Captain's Rest in amongst the other videos and a monthly update. Splash Radio is fast becoming the No1 internet radio station for unsigned music and has a great philosophy: If they like it, they play it, no matter what the style. You can find the station here, and they have a facebook page here.

There are a few other videos from the gig, and they can be seen on our Youtube channel.

See you soon,

Egon

Splash Radio and our very own Shop!

Hi guys,

We're getting some radio play tonight, online radio Splash Radio will be playing our song Paper Weight between 8pm and 10pm. To listen in, go to their website and click on launch live stream. The site is quite new, and features a blog as well as a forum so keep going back, it looks quite an exciting prospect.

We've got some of our songs up on our IM Radio profile where you can have a listen as well as write your own reviews of the tracks, leave comments and listen to unsigned artists from all over the world.

Finally, we've set up a wee shop where you can buy an actual CD, should you prefer it to a download. As we get more things to sell, they'll go in the shop, including tickets for future gigs.

Thanks,

Egon

All quiet on the western front

It's amazing how you work up to a date for months, the anticipation building, the adrenaline pumping at the very thought of it and then all of a sudden the day has been and gone. I suppose we are all in a post album launch comedown at the moment. But have no fear Feeding Egon will continue to eat, paint and battle ghosts!

We would like to thank all of our friends, family and fans for supporting us and attending the album launch last month. Since then we have been keeping our heads down promoting the album when we can without being too annoying with our web presence hopefully. The album has been sent off to many many places in the hopes of review or new fans, so now we play the waiting game. In the meantime, we'd also like to thank all those who have gone out of their way to purchase the album on one of the participating download sites. It's sad you couldn't make it to our album launch to get yourself a free copy but don't worry we will keep you posted on any gigs that we have coming up. Physical copies of the album will be available at every gig so if you still want to get your hands on one just ask one of us :D

For now we will be taking a short break to write songs and concentrate on exams. We aim to have a few new songs done before we play Glasgow again, that way we won't have to pester you every day for that particular weeks gig and when you do come along to see us again you'll always have something new to look forward to as well as some of our older tracks off the album.

Below are some photos from the album launch (with thanks to Olivia Vitazkova):

Bless Her, and all who listen to her

The album was launched at the Captain's Rest on Monday, and it was a fantastic night! Mr Wishart, promoted to Dr Wishart for one night only, played a fantastic set full of memorable tunes, amazing comic timing, and wonderful and well known cover versions!

Bohemond then took to the stage for their set, claiming to play every song they know. A highly energetic performance from the four-piece was very well received by a growing crowd, and feedback after the gig suggests they've made some fans from the night.

We took to the stage to play through the album, only not playing New Horizons and instead playing a wee jam.  Being up on the stage was as hot as being at the centre of the sun thanks to the lights, which also meant only the front row of the crowd could be seen.  The stage had been raised since we'd played there last time, and it felt very much like a proper venue.

A few of us went on to celebrate at a club into the early hours, which involved witnessing a pathetic excuse for a fight, discussing Scottish football with a group of strangers, and one of our party donating his new trainers to the M8 in an attempt to drop kick sweet and sour chicken balls.  Great night!

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, it meant a lot to us to be able to see (when the lights were up) so many of you there to support us.  We hope you're enjoying the album.

Thank you,

Egon
